For small to medium-sized businesses and individuals looking for an affordable web hosting option, this company rocks!
Tons of supported technologies and though they went down once while I had them, it was only for a minute or so. I can't really say much for how well the features worked in practice because I am a pretty basic user, but everything seemed alright.
My biggest issue with them was the load time. During peak bandwidth usage, it could take several seconds more for my page to load.
The thing this company does right is customer service. I actually used Zencart (great shopping cart software) and I was having trouble. I talked to them and even though it wasn't their responsibility or product, they guided me through it.
FatCow's control panel is a little hard to read and navigate because it isn't intuitively organized, but it gets the job done.

FatCow's price is the first thing that made it particularly attractive to me. Some of the other sites I saw with template HTML options were in the upwards of 14.00 or more a month, which these days especially seemed a little steep for my wallet.
I wanted a professional looking site, designed with unique personal touches that made it specific to my needs. Fatcow not only offered this, but they did so in a financial bracket that is hard to scoff at. I have never experiennced any major down times or technical difficulties. The site was more than user freindly, and helpful when it came to selecting different tools that I might want to make available to potential customers perusing my site.
It helped with the tagging aspect as well. This generated great traffic I believe, and optimized search engine location. All in all I have been overly satusfied with my choice of fatcow. And would over and above reccomend it without hesitation to those seeking in expensive, yet highly effective professional web hosting!
