    We hosted one of our sites with IX Web Hosting over 12 months this past year.

    What’s good about them? They’re cheap and offer just about all you’ll need.

    When you run into problems, they’re a nightmare. Most of our problems were performance related. We were running ASP.NET (which is slow) but obviously they had so many virtual hosts on the hardware that it wasn’t useable. Connecting to the SQL server, more often than not, timed out.

    The worst part was their tech support (useless) blamed us for the problems. We were running the same code on DiscountASP.net without a hitch. It really wasn’t worth our bother to save a few dollars.

    At $6/month, you get what you pay for. Spend a little extra and save yourself the headaches.

    I have hosted my site with IX Web Hosting for several years now and have had a positive experience. I run a fairly simple site that does not require many features so the service has been perfect for me.

    It is extremely inexpensive and I have experienced no major issues with the site being down.

    I have contacted their support team a few times over the years and the responses have always been quick and effective.

    IX Web Hosting has suited my needs very well.
